CONSULTING: POLICY

The economic and political role of African countries transformed over the past decade, heralding a new age of promising Euro-African international relations. But European and African actors are caught in outdated and obsolete patterns of Euro-African socio-political encounters, curtailing the infinity of possibilities.

My work on Euro-African international relations is based on determining win-win situations in order to obtain viable policy options in international relations. It assumes that it is important to know the multitude of actors involved, to establish the benefits that make these actors embark on such international enterprises and to point out common intersections for workable policy strategies and an intercultural understanding. This proactive and pragmatic take is nurtured by the experiences gathered and strategies developed during my sojourns and work encounters in various European and African countries.

This approach opens up a multitude of opportunities for the relations between various entities of the two continents: civil actors, private entities, governments as well as regional actors. Based on this I generate policy options and outlooks for political actors, political institutions and organizations as well as for the wider academic community in form of papers, conference publications, lectures, speeches, workshops and personal advice. Feel free to contact me for an introductory meeting on my concepts and services.
